This Sunday Night's Meditation: "Out Of Many... One." E Pluribus Unum

Given the WalMart CEO's solid statement distancing himself (and his company) from 45's primitive views (all of which have been amplified of late, as he tries vainly to pit us, one against the other) -- on what it means to believe in the promises to our people -- all of them -- I am going to run this without any more ado. Do watch it, if you haven't seen it on your TV this past week.

Timely, it is -- and please take it to heart: in Maricopa County, in Houston, in Berkeley, Chicago, New York and yes . . . Charlottesville. It doesn't matter that this is a "branded" PSA -- it matters that it is. . . the best of what we are, to one another (when we honor our differences, without letting those differences isolate us, one from another):

Please, do believe in one another -- believe in the innate goodness of all those around you -- and believe in the dream that is a free, just -- and most of all, at the moment -- open. . . America. Goodnight -- tomorrow is indeed a new day.
