So, sure -- sure. . . cool story, bro.
Yep -- our local laws have been upheld in the US Supreme Court, from last time around. Inside City Limits, and inside my township just north of it, local law enforcement has the right, and will act to enforce it. . . to turn the ICE raiders off of the streets. And the local volunteer forces, aided by local law enforcement (if need be) will guide ALL PERSONS (regardless of undocumented status), to walk peaceably, quietly and safely away from any ICE raid, to the nearest church. Once inside the church, ICE will be trespassing if they enter. And they will be arrested. Here's a bit:
. . .The [Tangerine 2.0] plan is slated to start Tuesday, the day after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, and is expected to last through the following Monday, according to the unnamed sources cited by the New York Times. The dates could change, as plans are still being finalized, the Times reports.
Between 150 and 200 Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are expected to be sent to Chicago, according to the reports. . . .
Last week, Mayor Brandon Johnson reiterated his support Chicago’s “welcoming city” status, and also urged Trump to pass an immigration reform bill.
“Our local law enforcement is not going to participate in any way with federal agents. We’re going to adhere to the law here in Chicago,” he said. . . .
Tangerine 2.0 is already largely shaping up to be "bread and circus" shows, for the least able in the MAGA ranks. Personally, I am already. . . bored. But there you have it. He's a lame duck on his first day. Out.
