[U: Confirmed for Thursday!] O/T: We Should Learn Roger Stone's Sentence Duration, Come Thursday...

. . .Though the able USDC Judge Amy Berman-Jackson did on Sunday [in unusual fashion] set a conference call for tommorrow at 11 AM Eastern, in DC, with all lawyers on the line -- to discuss "scheduling" -- as Team Roger just made another motion for a new trial.

I continue to believe the rules require / contemplate that he be sentenced Thursday, as scheduled -- and the new trial motion be argued and briefed, on a separate schedule -- along with any appeal from the sentence, or verdict more broadly. Updated: Thursday is still sentencing, per the able Judge. End, update.

We shall see -- but I strongly suspect Trump hasn't the dry powder, speaking politically, to pardon or commute this crook.

And I am certain the able judge has had her fill of his flaunting of her repeated, and increasingly specific orders.

As I've said before -- I'd expect a sentence of about five years. Karma. . . she took a minute -- in his case -- but she is arriving, and in style, to boot. A style befitting his. . . endless mendacity. Of course, there will be appeals -- but normally, he'd have to at least begin his sentence -- even during the appeals. Onward.

“. . .The truth still exists. The truth still matters. Roger Stone’s insistence that it doesn’t” poses “a threat to our most fundamental institutions, to the very foundation of our democracy.”

“The dismay and disgust at the defendant’s belligerence should transcend party

-- USDC Judge Amy Berman Jackson, as she
prepares in this very moment. . .
to hand down Stone's sentence.

Onward -- and. . . Harvey Weinstein is a in-custody federally convicted felon / inmate, as of this early afternoon, in Manhattan. Justice -- he'll be serving what amounts to a life sentence, given his age.

Namaste.
