[U] Ms. L. Class Action (Separated Families): For Tomorrow's Update Hearing, It Is Clear Trumpians Are Still Foot-Dragging...

UPDATED -- On Thursday Night: The Washington Post is reporting tonight that a seven year old girl from Guatemala has died in CBP | ICE custody, in New Mexico, from "dehydration". That is simply. . . premeditated murder, by neglect. Early childhood education/day care center operators in the USA get prosecuted for manslaughter for less egregious neglect. Time to indict. [End, update.]

Here is the 33 page overnight status report, in San Diego, but note that for at least 62 children still detained, the Trump agents have known for over 60 days what ought to be done (under the agreed settlement orders) -- but they have simply failed to do it. They are entitled to immediate relief, to be released to their sponsor(s) -- and admitted into the interior of the United States. NOW.

See footnote 6 on page 21:

. . . .The Steering Committee has submitted to the government 87 final reunification preferences indicating a waiver of reunification, and of these 87 final preferences, 78 were submitted to the government by the Steering Committee 60 or more days ago as of Wednesday, December 12. Furthermore, of these 78 final preferences that were submitted 60 or more days ago, 62 identify a specific sponsor in the United States for ORR purposes. These 62 children remain in ORR custody. . . .

This is simply an intentional crime against humanity -- ongoing -- expressly directed (on US soil, no less) by the (for now) sitting President of the United States. There is no other reasonable explanation. I am beyond disgusted. Onward to Friday's hearing, then, in San Diego.

I'll relegate this to a dreck-strewn comment level -- but I want to preserve it for posterity (or in the case of Tucker Carlson, posterior). . . .

Tucker apparently said on tee-vee last night that there is no economic case for mass immigration. Uh-huh.

Aside from the number of fine people cutting his lawns, waiting his tables, changing hotel bed-sheets (in each case paying full and fair taxes -- and it has been reported that he and his wife, a nearly-billionaire heiress, employed undocumented workers as their own household staff, as recently as 2009), perhaps he might consider just a few of the immigrants named Einstein, Von Braun, Wintour, Kapoor, Kumar, and thousands of others. . . and add up the CONTRIBUTED value of the US space program (Von Braun -- and all the tech from Tang, to the internet, that flowed from it), all advanced electronics and chemistry (Einstein, and hundreds of fellow immigrant mathematicians and physicists), pharmaceuticals (Kapoor and dozens of others), haute couture fashion (Wintour, and hundreds of others), IT/Tech (Kumar, and again thousands of others). . . . ALL taken together, these mass immigrations literally ARE the US economy. There is a trillion dollar juggernaut directly attributed the "economics" of allowing huddled masses, to breathe free air here.

In sum, Tucker Carlson is a clue free idiot -- and a mediocre, white privileged sniveling tee vee bobblehead, to boot.

Rant. Off.

I promise not to look at Fox, after this.

The headline Fox wrote claims Democrats are "quick to politicize" the death of a seven year old Guatemalan, overnight, from dehydration while detained in CBP | ICE custody.

She had a temp of over 105 (on arrival). . . . yet the agents left her without water or care -- for eight hours. She died. No other outcome would be expected from such criminal neglect -- of a helpless child. Were this an ordinary US day-care worker, they'd be looking to make bail, on pending voluntary manslaughter charges, this morning.

But they would be charged -- 100 percent certain about that (much experience speaking here, as the former chair of a charity which provided Early Head Start programs -- to 0-5 year olds). Politicizing? Fox -- Puleeze. . . .

Where I was raised, we were taught to call out crimes committed "in our name." Even very heinous, embarrassing ones. And make no mistake -- ICE is acting "in our name" (via 45's ongoing crime spree, against humanity policies) -- in direct contravention of positive laws passed by the Congress, protecting would-be asylees like these.

That is not politicizing -- that is demanding accountability -- from a felon preznit, and the feckless people who are stupid (or hateful) enough to fall in line. . . .

Onward.
