[U] This Is... Disconcerting. And Tragic.

This was published just a few hours ago (but bumped back up here Monday early AM, from Saturday night). It is important.

And it is truly unfortunate. I had no idea that the local accounts even existed -- they are very good evidence, in fact, and were all but discounted -- by largely-white Western European and US medicine's higher powers.

I have consciously chosen not to summarize it -- each scientist ought to read it for themselves, and decide whether the conclusion seems more probable than not so. Do read it all. That is all.
