March 28, 2016 -- A More Refined Timeline -- On The Proposed Federal Propecia® MDL Bellwether Trials

UPDATED: 03.28.2016 -- There were only minor changes to two deadline events, that came out of the revised scheduling order -- and they won't impact projected bellwether case trial dates. Now you know. Do keep the spirit of the man in the masthead ablaze, in your hearts, today -- and always. . . .

This was just entered in the federal MDL in the United States District Court, sitting in Brooklyn.

I don't imagine that this new joint filing will (when it arrives on March 25, 2016) radically alter the time line I've laid out earlier (see also the graphic, at right -- in blue ink) -- but it may refine, and "tighten the slack" in some of the entries, on the federal side. Here is -- in its entirety -- this afternoon's minute entry, from Brooklyn:

. . . .Order granting (294) Motion to Adjourn Conference.

The status conference scheduled for March 16, 2016 is rescheduled to April 27, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.

In addition to the parties' proposed joint status report to be filed on or before March 16, 2016, Plaintiffs are directed to file a single status report by March 25, 2016 advising the Court of the proposed timeline for their commencing to propose bellwether cases.

Ordered by Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo on March 14, 2016. . . .

Well -- now you know. Onward, and tomorrow is primaries election day, here in the City of Big Shoulders. . . smile.
