Do go see a slide-show of all ten, here -- from Iacocca (Chrysler) to Cuneo (Marvel) to Bethune (Continental Airlines):
. . . . No. 2 | Dick Clark. . . .
No. 10 (of 10) | Steve Jobs. . . .
It is not clear whether the list is in reverse order, but as much as I respect Mr. Clark, I'd never rank his efforts ahead of the feat Steve Jobs pulled off, over the last decade -- as he returned to Apple. Of course (as Mr. Iaccocca reminds us!), your mileage may vary.

Clark should not even b e on the list at all. He was certainly no leader.
Dick Clark's appearance is very curious. What, exactly, did he turn the company around from? Vioxx? That was Frazier and some would argue it has not been successful in the long term.
Going by stock price the company needs someone to still come to the rescue.
It is interesting that the "Iconic" list appeared exactly one day before his scheduled retirement date (tomorrow), and placed him second, overall -- on the Top 10 list.
I wonder -- who does he know at CNBC?
Namaste
Condor, I think you mean CNN.
Um. . . the list was broadcast in CNBC, but he may have connects at both networks.
Thanks!
