Based On New Evidence, Abrego Hearing In Nashville Moved To Dec. 8-9, 2025…

Over the past week, be able USDC Judge Crenshaw has been reviewing, in camera, the various internal documents of the federal government -- all of which are responsive to his order that he see ("eyes only") various communications between upper level political appointees, including Kristi Noem and Todd Blanche.

Overnight, Judge Crenshaw now has determined that at least 190 of these documents (and maybe more to come) are relevant to Mr. Heckers's motion to dismiss, for vindictive prosecution.

And so the "mini-trial" in Music City is to be delayed for one month -- to allow Mr. Hecker time to review, collate and summarize these documents for his arguments -- going foward. Thus, instead of November 4-5, it will now be December 8-9.

. . .A status conference was held on October 31, 2025:

➣ The evidentiary hearing on Nov. 4 and 5 is reset to Dec. 8 and 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

➣ The Court will file on the record, under seal, bates stamp 1-190 documents received from Government. Going forward, the Government should file additional bates stamped documents on the record, under seal.

➣ By Dec. 1, 2025, the revised witness and exhibit list for the evidentiary hearing shall be filed. Also by Dec. 1, 2025, the final juror questionnaire shall be ready to go. . . .

And so, I will not be in Music City next week, afterall.

But I will be there that first week of December. And I will live blog then.
