Odd Footnote: Kevin Mulleady (In FL) Indicted For... Murder Threats?! Targets Included Martin Shkreli. Wild.

First, I apologize.

My three great, world traveling, solar industrial electrical engineering, IronMan running, and podcasting adult offspring were all in the Chi, since Wednesday night (a rare occurrence these days) -- and I was thus almost completely off grid until this morning. [Still headed to to Art Institute this afternoon, with the youngest still in town until tomorrow.]

But apparently, Kevin Mulleady (see any one of about 50 posts here!)... went just a lil' mad, of late.

Became the proverbial / allegorical "Florida man" -- of Internet fame.

He's apparently hatched a plot (of unknown viability) to kill three former business associates from those bad old Turing/Retrophin days.

C R A Z Y.

Here's the item:

. . .Kevin Mulleady, a self-described “serial entrepreneur” and former associate of disgraced “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli, was arrested in Miami on Thursday after being accused of threatening to kill three former business partners he’s known for “several years” ― including Shkreli. . . .

Mulleady, 42, of Brickell, is facing three felony charges. In open court Friday, Shkreli was identified as one of the victims. The others were identified as Shkreli’s friend, Edmund Sullivan, and former Vyera Pharmaceuticals executive Akeel Mithani. . . .

Mulleady was once the CEO of Vyera, a company founded by Shkreli as Turing Pharmaceuticals. The company came under fire in 2015 for raising the price of a life-saving medication by roughly 4,000% after obtaining exclusive rights to it. Shkreli, 42, would later go to prison for securities fraud and conspiracy
. . . .

You. Just. Couldn't. Make. It. Up -- if you tried.

Of course, Martin deserves to live a long life in ignominy.

That is, no one should ever be murdered.

But karma is indeed. . . a wheel.

And she do come back 'round.

Out.
