Gotta' Brag Jes' A Bit... One Of The Five Most Livable Cities In America...

Yep -- a world class research oriented university with an $9 billion endowment right here -- steps away; sitting on crystal blue clear lake waters, and sandy soft beaches (but wicked winters!). . . an abidingly very tolerant view of the world. . . ample social services. . . and a very eclectic artistic mix -- in our population of just over 75,000. . .

Yes -- I think. . . I'll keep it. Here's the story:

. . .Five Illinois cities were recently named among the ”Top 100 Best Places to Live in the US in 2025” by online publication Livability, which ranks small- to medium-sized cities. The Livability list did not rank the top 100 cities numerically, but did give each city a quality of life score. You can filter the list by region, population and median home value.

Evanston, about 15 miles north of Chicago, was another Illinois city lauded by Livability, with a quality of life score of 759 out of 1,000. The city’s health metrics, amenities and economy stood out. . . .

Indeed -- have a great weekend, one and all! Out!
