The able USDC Judge AliKhan has now set out her schedule for the preliminary injunction hearings.
It appears in full text, on the public docket as of a few minutes ago -- and in Rhode Island, the TRO has become essentially permanent -- pending additional orders. Here's the latest:
. . .MINUTE ORDER:
Upon consideration of the parties' Joint Status Report [38], it is hereby ORDERED that the following schedule shall govern preliminary-injunction briefing in this matter:
(1) Plaintiffs shall file their motion for a preliminary injunction on or before February 11, 2025;
(2) Defendants shall file their opposition on or before February 15, 2025; and
(3) Plaintiffs shall file their reply, if any, on or before February 18, 2025.
It is further ORDERED that the parties shall appear for a hearing on the preliminary injunction on either February 20 or February 21, 2025, and the parties shall contact Courtroom Deputy Ms. Margaret Pham (XXXXXX@dcd.uscourts.gov) to set a time for the hearing. Consistent with the court's February 3, 2025 Memorandum Opinion and Order [30], the court's temporary restraining order shall remain in effect until further order of the court. . . .
Signed by Judge Loren L. AliKhan on 2/6/2025. . . .
Now you know. Look at all the loser's. . . losses, just in three weeks. Astonishing.
