Rudy has settled this contempt matter, with the plaintiffs.
The πs had Hizzoner absolutely on the ropes.
Here's the letter in full, just docketed.
. . .Plaintiffs Ruby Freeman and Wandrea’ Moss, Defendant Rudolph W. Giuliani, and Intervenor Andrew Giuliani (collectively, the “Parties”) respectfully submit this letter-motion to inform the Court that Plaintiffs and Defendant have executed a settlement agreement (“Agreement”) that, once certain conditions are met, would fully resolve all issues currently scheduled for trial, including the claims of Intervenor Andrew H. Giuliani, and would result in the conclusion of all litigation currently pending between and among the Parties.
Accordingly, the Parties respectfully request that the Court adjourn the trial scheduled for January 21, 2025, and the continued contempt hearing currently scheduled for January 29, 2025, to dates on or after February 25, 2025, to permit the Parties to fully implement the Agreement. The Parties will promptly notify the Court upon full satisfaction of the terms of the Agreement. Plaintiffs have not previously sought any requests for adjournment of the trial date. Defendant has made one such request, No. 24-cv-6563, ECF No. 91, which the Court denied orally during a hearing on November 26, 2024 and memorialized in a subsequent written order, No. 24-cv-6563, ECF No. 104. Other than the appearances described above, no other appearances are currently scheduled. . . .
Wild times. But now you know. Onward.

So, if someone else is paying the bill, does that count as a 'gift?' Will the IRS tax him on it????
I am sure the agreement will be set up with the “donor” hiring Rudy as a consultant, so it will be 1099 income — and grossed up for taxes… and the payment will nominally come from Rudy’s bank account… or it will leave him out altogether and the RNC will transfer $$$ to the plaintiffs… tax-exempt.
We shall see.
Heh! Great question!
But why would the RNC or any other Trump controlled entity pay $150M for Rudy when for the last 4 years they had refused to help him at all? Why spend that much, now, on him?
I hear you, Anon. -- and it may be less than $50 million, all in. That's $25 million to each of the women -- and since it is personal injury / libel damages, I think that makes it tax-free -- to the Georgia workers. $50 million cash right now means they can live care-free lives, and so can all their extended family and friends, henceforth. Karma.
To be certain, this is all conjecture -- but (i) the RNC / Trump coffers are largely stuffed with cash at the moment. . . and Rudy may now be (ii) VERY directly hinting that (on a stand, under oath, at trial) he'd say Tangerine 1.0 "ordered" him to lie about the 2020 Georgia election outcome. That's an all new felony, by Trump and if charged under a state law, Trump cannot pardon himself.
My hunch is these guys all draw the long knives -- against each other. . . on the regular. A proverbial den of thieves.
With the inaugural now only two days away, Rudy likely told Trump "you have no power to pardon me, so you must pay them... I'm broke. And I will make your life hell (and Ivanka's and Jared's and Don Jr.'s and Melania's. . . too -- they are all very big targets if you don't get me the money)."
We can be sure (iii) Rudy is in fact broke. And a 80 year old guy out on the streets, babbling (quite credibly, it would seem) about Tangerine's crimes (a guy who also happens to have once been the US Attorney in NYC -- and the Mayor). . . makes LOTS of MAGA donors (Musk likely included). . . very nervous.
Remember Rudy STILL faces jail -- on indicted felony state charges in Arizona -- going to trial next January (2026), and I don't think Trump can pardon those -- also 2020 election fraud / lies. So he will have a willing audience in Arizona's Maricopa County, in a year. And his truthful testimony could bury Tangerine (again).
We shall see.
Great stuff!
Last thought: he is, quite literally, the proverbial guy with "nothing left to lose" -- and a guy with perhaps 25 years of first hand knowledge about Tangerine's lawlessness.
And a guy like that -- with nothing left to lose -- is very very dangerous, to his fellow crooks.
All that said, like Ivana -- he may magically "fall down" some stairs at home, or at Mar-a-Lago, before the January 2026 Arizona felony trial. . . at some point, this coming summer.
This really is run like a crime syndicate, in my opinion.
Namaste. . . .
