Bill Barr THINKS He's Rehabilitating His Rep -- But Confessing To Crimes Is Not "Rehabilitative".

I don't want to spill a lot of pixels on this, so I'll use an old graphic.

Over the weekend past, Bill Barr told Lester Holt on TV that the goal of 01.06.2021 was to "intimidate the Congress" and VP Pence (and also -- by commuting Roger Stone -- witness tampering).

I guess he's calculated that admitting what anyone with a working cerebral cortex can discern may return him to the ranks of "serious people" in the GOP. Whatever.

It also happens that admitting to an attempt (even if ultimately non-availing, a day later) to intimidate the Congress or the VP, in delaying or ending a vote count. . . is a felony. That's the plain text of 3 U.S.C. §§ 15-18. Of course, he won't be charged.

But Tangerine might yet be so charged. That's all I've got -- on a morning with four inches of new white stuff, but the Sun poking through now. Grinning. . . ever, grinning.
