[U: Glitch Fixed] Me? I Expect This Smallish Glitch Will Still Allow For A Christmas Eve 2021 Launch...

Updated 12.16.2021 @ 8 PM EST: the glitch in the comms line has been diagnosed, and fully corrected, per a mission team tweet. Full update on the launch schedule for Christmas Eve, will come tomorrow. End updated portion.

But as ever, we will have to wait to see. Here's that bit, from NASA, overnight:

. . .The [Redacted Next Gen] Space Telescope team is working a communication issue between the observatory and the launch vehicle system.

This will delay the launch date to no earlier than Friday, Dec. 24.

We will provide more information about the new launch date no later than Friday, Dec. 17. . . .

Now you know. . . record high 64 degree weather here -- completely insane, for mid-December. . . smiling, though -- I'll take it.
