In interviews, on tape -- and consented to (wholly-unlike Veritas' M.O., ironically, in each case) -- for a forthcoming book -- Tangerine defended, at length the deadly-crowd, as it headed to the January 6 riot/insurrection at the Capitol chanting "Hang Mike Pence!":

Trump: "Because it's common sense, Jon. It's common sense that you're supposed to protect. How can you — if you know a vote is fraudulent, right? — how can you pass on a fraudulent vote to Congress? Anybody I spoke to — almost all of them at least pretty much agree, and some very much agree with me — because he's passing on a vote that he knows is fraudulent. How can you pass a vote that you know is fraudulent? Now, when I spoke to him, I really talked about all of the fraudulent things that happened during the election.
I didn't talk about the main point, which is the legislatures did not approve — five states. The legislatures did not approve all of those changes that made the difference between a very easy win for me in the states, or a loss that was very close, because the losses were all very close. . . ."
I am fairly certain, even in a smoke-filled private boys' club, no former president ever defended violence against his own running mate / co-office holder. Ever -- and certainly never in an on the record, recorded interview. But. . . here we are. And I for one, know why all things now seem so fraught -- with "leadership" like that. Out.

And as long as I'm ranting(!) -- the courts are. . . the peoples' courts. They are (absent COVID-19 restrictions) open to. . . "We, the People."
The idea that the defense lawyers in the Ahmaud Arbery homicide trial (for the white vigilantes) think they can object to who attends the trial, in the gallery. . . is insane.
If Rev. Sharpton or Rev. Jesse Jackson is there to support the family/victim's rights. . . that is. . . exactly. . . the way our pluralistic America. . . works.
These [southern] criminal defense lawyers. . . are disgusting -- in the suggestion that our court-house doors should only be open to local (and largely white, in their minds) landowners. . . that is. . . repugnant:
