Merck v. Merck Lanham Act Settlement Conference Held Last Week In New Jersey; Next Update On Settlement Discussions On March 5, 2021

We've covered this in various forms -- as Facebook address "cyber-squatting" by chicanery, back in 2010-11. . . all the way to nearly global litigation in various courts (at least 15 of them) dotting the globe. Now it seems the German firm, and the US firm (no relation) are on the verge of solving their spats. I didn't want to jinx it by writing about it, a Christmas-time, after the December 22 conference went silent -- without an update. [See that last link.]

In any event, here's to hoping that by March 5, the two venerable firms will have a draft framework -- one that might solve all their global name disputes, in one fell swoop ready for the court's consideration, here:
