But it means more votes will be counted in Pennsylvania -- and it clearly means the Chief Justice chose not to join the conservative wing -- and just ruled on well-settled law -- in this denial of review (which is itself effectively a final decision in favor of all votes being counted, in the Quaker State):

The application for stay presented to Justice Alito and by him referred to the Court is denied.

Justice Thomas, Justice Alito, Justice Gorsuch, and Justice Kavanaugh would grant the application. . . .
