I call BS on this as a way to deal with the backlog. This is done just to make it more difficult.
Indeed, disgusting. (I needed to take a breather from all the Trump immigration related hate; thus... pie!)
I expect that his related move, to insist that asylees apply, and then await adjudication OUTSIDE the US... will be held to violate 8 USC 1385... and like that move, this one will be enjoined — should he attempt it.
It is telling that the agency’s mission was revised to omit “we are a nation of immigrants” from the opening stanza.
He’s a horrible, immoral and hypocritical person.

Yes. It is almost as though (checks notes). . . Donald Trump is openly encouraging racial, religious and ethnic animus -- at ICE.
But that simply. . . can't be -- 'cuz he tells us. . . he knows some of. . . "the blacks". [And he tells really, really "hilarious" black-face jokes -- about his own secret service detail -- at private GOP funded dinners.]
