We Likely Now Have A Court-Appointed Special Master In Flores... As Trump Makes A Losing Appeal, To The 9th Circuit.

In addition to appealing the general decision in favor of the asylum seeking / migrant families (i.e., stopping his lunacy -- as being in violation of a long-extant Flores settlement decree) -- from July 30, 2018 -- to the Ninth Circuit. . . yesterday, Trump's lawyers agreed to the compromise pick for Special Master (while disputing the need for one).

Charming. Here's the operative bit -- and the full four page PDF, from LA overnight:

. . . .On September 26, 2018, the Court issued an order nominating “Andrea Sheridan Ordin to the position of Special Master/Independent Monitor.” ECF No. 489. The Court asked the parties to “file a joint status report indicating whether they have any objections to the appointment of Ms. Ordin as the Special Master/Independent Monitor.” Id. Defendants maintain their objections to the appointment of a Special Master/Independent Monitor in this case. However, both parties state that they have no objections to Andrea Sheridan Ordin as the nominee. . . .

Now you know -- and his appeal will fail, I predict. Onward, to a brighter November -- when the "blue tsunami" takes both chambers of Congress -- House, and Senate. Trump's time for honoring himself. . . (see, his latest disgusting Tennessee overnight sh!t show) is. . . ending.

At that Tennessee appearance, he joked that he has "blackmail material" -- on a sitting US Senator. But he'll save it for his tell-all book. That's the sitting president, threatening. . . blackmail. A felony. All while he moves children, under cover of night -- to a Texas border tent city, for God only knows what.

My take? He will have plenty of time to write that word salad tell-all, on prison legal pads, with the (supplied) cheap pencils. . . but no ghost writer will want to sit with him, where he is going. Yes. . . onward, indeed.
