In San Diego, in an end of day eight page PDF filing, the able pro-bono lawyers for the families say that Chad Readler and the various arms of the Trump administration are essentially giving them the "slow roll" -- i.e., no substantively-NEW information has been shared -- since last Thursday. Tomorrow's proceedings are likely to be rather. . . heated, indeed. Now you know. [End, updated portion. Buckle up, buttercup.]
Apparently, now we wait for Tuesday -- and the next round of status updates. There was only this minute order entry, as of late this evening from Judge Sabraw -- so unless something turns up over the weekend -- or Monday -- we hold until Tuesday for more information:
. . . .Status Conference previously set for 7/24/2018 will be heard at 3:00 PM in Courtroom 13A before Judge Dana M. Sabraw. . . .
Now you know. Have a peace-infused weekend. 45's new (old) motto? "Сделаем Америку снова великой!" Or, if you need a translation from the Russian: "Makз дмзяicа Gязaт дgaiй, Coмяadз."

FRom the docket this morning:
". . .On July 16, 2018, Plaintiffs filed a Motion for Stay of Removal. At a status
conference that same day, the Court ordered Defendants to file a response to that
motion on or before 9:00 am PST on July 23, 2018. The parties have met and
conferred several times in an effort to resolve that motion without further action from
the Court. In order to allow those efforts to continue, Defendants seek a 24-hour
extension of their response deadline, until 9:00 am PST on July 24, 2018. Counsel
for Plaintiffs has stated that Plaintiffs do not oppose this request for extension.
DATED: July 22, 2018. . . ."
Tomorrow's hearings and filings in San Diego will reveal much -- at around noon Eastern.
