My take is that this one is inexorably creeping toward a "making the best of a very bad situation" resolution, now.

Truly, I sense that ICE and the government lawyers are increasingly embarrassed by their part in -- and perhaps ashamed even -- of the actions 45 had explicitly ordered undertaken. These are orders all of them should have refused to carry out. They were plainly unlawful when given.
