Been meaning to jot this down for a bit... a Friday night thought.

I saw some version of this. . . somewhere (paraphrasing), a day ago (can't find it again, at the moment):

"The right wing Daily Caller is now running agit-prop by Russian overlords, with long-standing and tight ties to Vlad. The overlords are being portrayed as good guys (by/in the Daily Caller), overlords who are. . . being persecuted by US "Deep State" actors. . . ."

Let that sink in. Just let that triple-wrapped lie. . . sink in. . . .

Me? I certainly could use a. . . drink -- but. . . I think a root beer will do. Smile -- g'night.

From my perspective, Russian meddling is a convenient distraction and advances an agenda. I've studied some U.S. military and Soviet strategy. Russians almost always prefer Sun-Tzu & Aikido (low energy momentum redirection) tactics over overt methods. Communist strategies have been thoroughly documented by J. Edgar Hoover and several others. These maps speaks for themselves if you are concerned about Russian agression:

If you look deeper at the meddling narrative, you will notice a fight among internal U.S. power factions for state assets. Don't get me wrong, blowing up Russian stuff could be very beneficial to the MIC, so they might try that too. I've got a strong assessment that the CIA, JSOC, the FBI, and various industries of corporate America are aiming for outright control of the NSA and the legislative branch. The NSA is probably the most valuable asset in the history of the world and buying off Congress is always a great ROI. Nobody cares what the public thinks anymore and the NSA is so powerful it can actually tell the public what to think!

This is a heavily biased far right blog, but the article rings true. Start here:

The Democratic Party has completely jumped the shark and confirms my collapse of democracy theory. There isn't even a hint of constructive debate between the left and right anymore. The Democrats are going after Stormy Daniels stories while a silent coup is taking place and the CIA is taking over the party. The Democrats have absolutely no agenda other than to impeach Trump. The Democratic Party suit dismissal confirms my theory too. It's all really crazy.

Have you spent much time looking into this? What do you think is going to happen if Trump is impeached and a junta takes power?

Hey man --

I do hear you, but you've completely lost me -- when you say the CIA is taking over the Democratic Party. I think that sounds a little... nutty.

I think 45 is going to be removed one way or another -- impeachment, indictment or resign, like a Nixon moment.

There will be no junta. Our system of ordered liberty is far more robust than that.

Do I think Pence will be an awful replacement? Yes. But we the people will be forceful in turning him into a "caretaker" only -- a la Gerald Ford, post Nixon.

History does offer us some lessons here.

And these are awful times to be certain -- but we will come through them.

Of that too, I am certain.

Namaste. . . .

I wouldn't have believed it either before 2016. From the WSWS article:

"One quarter of all the Democratic challengers in competitive House districts have military-intelligence, State Department or NSC backgrounds. This is by far the largest subcategory of Democratic candidates. National security operatives (57) outnumber state and local government officials (45), lawyers (35), corporate executives, businessmen and wealthy individuals (30) and other professionals (19) among the candidates for Democratic congressional nominations."

The article explains everything and it is all in the public domain.

Okay — I’ll cone back to this, man. At the moment, I am deep into picking my brackets, for various pool purposes... in an iPhone App (cough! CBS Bracketology) — forgive me!

In each one I’m submitting, though — a common theme has emerged: I have tiny Loyola Chicago reaching a Sweet 16 game to meet Tennessee (see your own brackets, to figure out what that implies... smile!).

But my law school alma mater does have a non-trivial chance of knocking mighty Tennessee... out of the big dance!

Back to the alchemy, now...

Namaste!
