Next Status Hearing In Merck v. Merck Naming Spat Is September 12, 2017

As the German Merck chews through perhaps $2 million per quarter, in document review costs alone -- the able Magistrate Judge has put both parties on a tighter timeline than either really wanted, or imagined. In sum, all document production must be completed two months earlier than German Merck had forecast -- by Halloween '17.

Here is our recent (May 2017) substantive summary of these topics -- and today, fully post eclipse (check Mike Nil's sunspots shot!) -- the able USDC Magistrate Judge has revised the proffered order, thus (that's a PDF; and do click on the image at right, for some of the handwritten textual details):

. . . .AMENDED SCHEDULING ORDER:

Telephone/Status Conference set for 9/12/2017 02:00 PM before Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer. . . .

Now you know. It has taken a beat or two to get back to prosaic, mundane Earth time, here.

And that is decidedly. . . a good thing. Smiling now -- at all those who want/need smiles. . . . Good-evening. . . .
