A New Setback -- In Ending Liberian Ebola Outbreak

Disheartening news; with just this one new case, again a sleuthing operation begins, to identify all the deceased patient's contacts -- over the past several months.

Here is a short quote, describing the latest -- per Bloomberg, overnight:

. . . .A 17-year-old boy in Margibi County tested positive for Ebola and died, Health Minister Bernice Dahn told reporters in Monrovia, the capital. . . .

The new case complicates efforts to stamp out the disease in West Africa, where it has killed more than 10,000 people since December 2013 and crippled the economies of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Officials will now focus on tracing the boy’s steps to see who he may have come into contact with while contagious. . . .
