In over 15 years with that company he led several critical legal functions including international, US health care and managed markets, marketing and sales, commercial law and M&A/licensing. He also served as corporate secretary to the board and headed the securities and governance group. . . .
Another one moves on. And yet, it would seem that Joe was in charge of corporate governance matters when Richard J. Kogan was the Schering-Plough chairman of the board, chief executive officer and president (certainly in the 2001 SEC proxy and the 2002 SEC proxy -- Kogan's last full year), as Kogan flamed out. . . Interesting.
