Ex-Schering-Plough Lawyer Becomes GC At Nycomed US

From the Nycomed US presser, tonight:

. . . .[Joseph J. LaRosa] was Vice President, Legal Affairs at Schering-Plough Corporation, where he served as a corporate officer and a member of the operations management team. In over 15 years with that company he led several critical legal functions including international, US health care and managed markets, marketing and sales, commercial law and M&A/licensing. He also served as corporate secretary to the board and headed the securities and governance group. . . .

Another one moves on. And yet, it would seem that Joe was in charge of corporate governance matters when Richard J. Kogan was the Schering-Plough chairman of the board, chief executive officer and president (certainly in the 2001 SEC proxy and the 2002 SEC proxy -- Kogan's last full year), as Kogan flamed out. . . Interesting.
