Oops! "Wrong" Merck -- In The Wall Street Journal: Trivia!

So sorry -- I can't resist this -- as so many often make the mistake of interchanging the German Merck KGaA (no relation) with the Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based company -- that is covered by this blog.

But when the capitalists' paper of record makes this rookies'-mistake, well. . . that is news:

. . . .Merck & Co. of Whitehouse Station, N.J., has been working to correct problems that have affected aspects of its vaccine production since 2007. The Merck & Co. section of a graphic that accompanied a June 11 Marketplace article about manufacturing problems at drug companies incorrectly included a photo of the headquarters of Germany's Merck KGaA, which is unrelated to the U.S. company. . . .

That is all. [But don't feel too terribly awful, WSJ, as here CNBC is still making the same graphics-mistake, and continuously since at least November 2009.]

Something more substantive soon, I promise.
