Monday morning's Wall Street Journal will carry the following non-news (at least to readers of this blog!), about Schering-Plough -- while lauding Amgen's commitment to conduct a shareholder survey -- on executive pay, and report on it at this year's annual meeting:
. . . .Drug maker Schering-Plough Corp. had planned a similar survey before it agreed last month to be acquired by Merck & Co.; the company declines to comment on whether it will still conduct the survey. . . .
I think we all know why the cat has CEO Hassan's tongue.
