Dr. Steve Nissen echoes PM's theory on Plant Sterols. . . .

It seems this PM-generated theory just gained significant public intellectual currency. Excellent! Take a look at this CNN pull-quote, from Dr. Dr. Steve Nissen, chairman of the department of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic -- see the bottom of the article:

. . . .Nissen said one way Zetia may be linked to cancer is that it blocks the absorption of plant sterols. He explained, "There's a body medical literature that says those very plant sterols can inhibit the growth of cancer. . . ."

Let us now set about testing this possibility, without prejudice or rancor, and with the usual rigor we expect from truly independent scientists. Cool.
