Y A W N.

Yeah. A nothing burger, tonight. Again.

Most people in the lowest quintile by annual income in the US (and mostly on Medicaid) already pay less than $10 per month out of pocket, for almost all these meds. Tangerine 2.0 is simply 100% a lying propaganda showman, now:

. . .[M]ost Americans won’t see changes to their out-of-pocket costs resulting from the deals. In some cases, they could end up paying more if they use their own money to go through TrumpRx when they could have paid less by relying on insurance. . . .

As he has done while announcing the other drug pricing deals, Mr. Trump on Friday made claims about impossible price decreases of up to 800 percent. At another point, he boasted: “This represents the greatest victory for patient affordability in the history of American health care by far. . . .”

Now you know. He's not even capable of telling plausible lies any longer. Out.

  1. FYI - Regarding Christian Nationalism and Original Intent

    November 4th 1796

The "Treaty of Peace and Friendship" that was negotiated under President George Washington was signed at Tripoli.

This treaty was ratified by the Senate of the 4th Congress of the United States on March 2nd 1796 two days before Washington left office and was announced on March 7th. With several of these Senators "founding fathers."

This treaty ended hostilities with the Barbary Coast pirates.

    Article 11 states:

As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

This is the official position of the United States Government and a number of "founding fathers."

  2. Quite so, Anon.

And it is mostly at ahistorical, semi-accredited, religious Evangelical “X-tian” schools and colleges that instructors offer the view that the United States was founded as a Christian nation, and should be Christian first, white first, and nativist.

So yours above is a very good reminder that the truth was almost exactly the opposite of what these so-called Christians try to teach.

Still, it will be in uphill battle because the false view is becoming entrenched even in private elementary school curriculum.

It may take a decade or more to undo the damage that MAGA has done in these two terms separated by one Biden term.

    Namaste

  3. Hear. Hear. on the first part.

However I fear that a complete undoing will not be possible.

For it is much easier to tear things down than build things up, and we will likely have a relatively divided Congress for the foreseeable future. Plus the Supreme Court. As compared to the Congresses and Supreme Courts when things were built up.
