Amazon Labor Rights Update: Company Is Threatening Pro-Union Employees In Joliet...

This involves more than one union, so we will image both of the proposed advocate organizations. This is a new charge, as of last week.

The company's management in Joliet is threatening pro-union employees with arrest, while they are on public sidewalks, off the company property. [Arriving police officers had advised management that so long as the people were not being disruptive, or violent, they could not be arrested merely for standing on a public sidewalk, exercising first amendment rights.]

This company is soon to ride the whirlwind of 1.5 million union brothers and sisters, working together to get fair and living working conditions.

Get over yourself, Mr. Bezos -- you are no monarch -- and under US NLRA laws, your employees cannot be fired or disciplined or "arrested", for advocating in earnest for change....

Cheers -- on to a bike ride under overcast but kind skies. Smile.
