Merial/Merck-to-Sanofi ECC "Simplified Procedure" Date Has Come -- And Gone. . . .

It is now after lunch time in Europe. . . on the business-day after the first "Simplified Procedure Provisional Deadline" might have expired, of right, for the Merck's Merial-to-Sanofi portion of the transactions. Yet, there is no (electronic) indication that this portion of the deals cleared the "Provisional Deadline." Several other deals were cleared overnight, in Brussels, but not Merck's Merial-to-Sanofi-Aventis.

. . . .It could still come, but this is beginning to look like a longer clearance process. I'll keep you posted. . . .

Just now, a claim of a Bloomberg story -- which is not on the Bloomberg site, yet -- that the easy part of this deal has cleared the ECC: appears here. . . .

But, as you can see by this link, the ECC hasn't updated its site, yet.
