Ahem. How The Argument Time Will Be Split -- Next Thursday Morning, At The Supremes -- On The Colorado DQ-ing Of Tangerine Case Appeal...

You know full well, we won't be able to resist listening in, and if my other time commitments permit, i'll live blog it.

I expect Colorado to have the upper hand on the actual law's clear mandate -- and on what the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment's framers. . . at the time, plainly intended.

But Alito / Thomas are the wild cards: will they pull a political (non-legal) rabbit out of the hat, by swaying any/all of Gorsuch / Barrett or Kavanaugh? We shall see -- here's the morning's SCOTUS minute order:

. . .23-719 TRUMP, DONALD J. V. ANDERSON, NORMA, ET AL.

. . .The motion of respondent Griswold for divided argument and for enlargement of time for oral argument is granted in part, a total of 80 minutes is allotted, and the time is divided as follows:

40 minutes for petitioner, 30 minutes for respondents Anderson, et al., and 10 minutes for respondent Griswold. . . .

Onward, grinning -- ever, grinning.
